How to choose the right pillow

A quality down pillow ensures an optimal position of the head and neck, being at the same time very adaptable to the specific shape and weight of each user.

Selecting the appropriate firmness level is an important consideration. You can choose a firmer or softer pillow, depending on your personal preferences, but it is also important to take into account the position in which you usually sleep.

For example, if you sleep on your stomach, a soft pillow with less fluff will allow your head and neck to sit closer to the mattress, encouraging a neutral spine position. If you sleep more often on your side, a firm pillow with more fluff will keep your head and neck elevated and aligned with your spine.

How to choose the right duvet

Warmth levels: HappyNest down duvets are available in different versions, designed for certain ambient temperature ranges.

You can choose a light and comfortable down model, perfect for the warm season, or one of the winter quilt models, extra warm and fluffy.

HappyNest summer duvets are recommended for the temperature range of 22 - 26 degrees Celsius, winter duvets are suitable for temperatures between 16 - 18 degrees Celsius, and spring-autumn duvets can be used especially in rooms with temperatures between 18 - 22 Celsius degrees.

Dimensions: If you share the bed with your life partner and want to stay comfortably wrapped under the HappyNest duvet, you can opt for our 220/240 duvet. If you sleep alone and are looking for a suitable quilt for your bed, smaller models may be just what you need.

How to clean down pillows and duvets

Daily care: Always use a duvet cover and pillowcases. This helps protect the duvet from the traces of everyday use and stains that can be caused by sweat.

Shake them off! When you make your bed, shake the pillows and duvet a little. When the weather is nice and sunny, with low humidity, you can air the quilts, avoiding their exposure to the sun for too long. The same goes for down-filled pillows, gentle shaking and airing help you keep the pillows clean and in the best shape for a long time.

To keep the duvet fluffy and comfortable, it’s recommended not to sit on it for a long time and not to press it too much when it is stored. Down bunches are strong, but if they are crushed repeatedly, they will eventually break, which will cause the filling to lose its elasticity and properties. This type of "wear and tear" is not covered under warranty.
